As my client is a book shop targeting the specific and somewhat niche audience of feminist and queer individuals, my target audience for my campaign will be similar and follow this. My target audience is older teens to young adults, who identify as queer and / or feminists, however a secondary target audience would be any young adults of any gender, as literature can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone regardless and this will maximise my audience - leading to a mass audience. This would most likely be people aged around 18-30 due to some of the explicit themes and topics that are explored in some of the novels sold here, as this is the age that most readers who read this genre are, as they're less traditional and more liberal in their views, contrasting to those who are older and perhaps adopt more traditional and less accepting views - as they wouldn't be the target audience, nor would they read this type of literature. However, a secondary target audience would be those around 16-18, additionally those 30+, as literature is available to everyone regardless of age.
